One of Sarah Gillespie’s ghost-like mezzotint moths appeared in our shop for framing. A lovely velvety image of one of these mysterious night-time creatures, printed on a pulpy paper.
We agreed with the customer on the approach of surface mounting, to enjoy the quality of the paper. A deep spacer keeps the glass away from the print surface. The spacer is lined with the same board as the surface mount. Glazed with super-clear anti-reflective glass to show every superb detail of the print.
