Unusual Projects

Here are some unusual and memorable items we’ve framed.

Limited Edition Crisps

We were tempted to add a sticker saying “In case of hunger – Break Glass”!

The largest frame we’ve ever made. It could be unbolted into 4 lengths for easy transport.

Diamond Jubilee

Customers do like to set us a challenge. This Diamond Jubilee cross-stitch even had crystals set into it (at least I don't think they were real diamonds!).

Medals

We frame many sets of medals. They can be a lot more complex than these ones though, and include photos, cap badges and citations.

Spade

First time we’ve ever framed a garden spade! I’ll leave you to think of the story behind this.

Guitar

This (full-sized) Guitar is signed by Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees.
There was a bit of Night Fever working out how best to frame it,
but we got there in the end!

A set of cut-throat razors and clippers for the local barber. (Glad they’re safely in frames!)

Memento to Horse

One of the things I love about picture framing is that there is always something new! This is a memento to a ‘Much loved Dressage horse.

TriShirt

Not any old triathlon, but an Ironman! Framed for our local ironman, to include the shirt, medal, number and finish photo. (Rather him than me.).

Amazing Arrows

Masie is holding one of the most unusual items we’ve ever had. Two arrows, the second arrow shot straight into the back of the first! The customer (a champion archer) thinks that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event.
